All entries should be concerned with some aspect of social, political or cultural life in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America, the Middle East or the Post-Soviet States (excluding EU members). Scripps Howard Awards

The Missouri Review’s 6th Annual Audio Contest

New York Festivals
NYF's International Radio Programs & Promos Competition for The World's Best Radio Programs & Promos honors radio programming and promotions in all lengths and formats from radio stations, networks and independent producers from around the globe. The Daniel Pearl Awards
A biannual award, created specifically to honor cross-border investigative reporting. It is open to professional journalists or a team of journalists who were involved in reporting from at least two countries on a topic of world significance. Clarion Awards Association for Women in Communication
Highly sought after by both women and men, the Clarions, named for the medieval trumpet known for its clarity, symbolize excellence in clear, concise communications. Radio categories include: radio regular newscast, radio regular feature program, radio regular talk or interview program, radio feature story, radio documentary series, women's issues radio program. Daniel Schorr Journalism Prize
An award given to a rising journalist in public radio for a news story or segment of significance and quality.
